NLI Celebrates 30 Years of Outreach

New Life International (New Life) celebrates 30 years as an effective mission and charitable outreach organization: having seen over 11 million people make a decision to accept Jesus Christ. New Life has also seen the lives of millions of other individuals changed through its humanitarian outreach initiatives worldwide. The Christian organization’s mission is to “fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism, discipleship and humanitarian relief.” New Life’s outreach programs have spanned the globe. This year alone, New Life distributed just over 51 million dollars in cash and gifts in kind.

“New Life’s founder, Norvel Olive, started out with a passion to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” says New Life President, Robby McGee. “God has truly provided a harvest and enabled us to touch many lives. We are very grateful for what God has done in the past and we are excited about the opportunities in the future.”

Highlights over the past 30 years of New Life’s global and national initiatives include: a children’s home in Chennai, India with 100 children; drilling over 100 freshwater wells and the construction of over 100 churches throughout the rural villages of India; gospel festivals in countries throughout the world; disaster relief during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Ike and other disasters; providing therapy bikes for special needs kids; and making dreams come true for children and the elderly through granting dreams programs.

When asked what New Life has in mind for the future, Robby McGee states: “I believe that during these tough economic times in the U.S. and around the world, we are going to see numerous opportunities that will allow us to have a greater impact and harvest than ever before.”

New Life International is based in Brentwood, Tennessee and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian organization established in 1979. This mission of New Life is to fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism, discipleship and humanitarian relief.
